Ciao, I'm Jannis. I grew up in the Grisons mountains before studying to become a primary school teacher in Zurich, where I've made my home ever since. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending a lot of time in the mountains. A place that I strongly associate with my passion for photography. However, urban life also leaves its mark on my way of visual expression.
Today I no longer limit my work to landscapes alone, but complement this aspect with a growing enthusiasm for people, buildings and everyday scenes. Whenever possible I shoot my work on film as this medium winds up my creativity the most.
